Large Office Solution
Multi-User Wireless Solution
(Multiple computers sharing the same Internet service)

The client may choose to rent or purchase the Forbin Scalable Wireless Multi-Function Router that can be incorporated into your current network. Multiple users can share simultaneous access to a single Internet service subscription up to 256 users. This is a very robust full-featured solution that can be configured to act as your own e-mail or site server. See reverse side for complete information.

Note: Sharing of the bandwidth and resources will affect the performance of the network.

Workstation Requirements: The client computers must have at least a 133Mhz Intel Pentium processor and an Ethernet interface card. The operating system must be either Microsoft Windows 98,98SE, Windows 2000 or ME. Regardless of the OS, the computer must have all current updates and patches. Each computer must have the original operating system installation CDs. The CDs are needed in order to set up drivers for the interface cards, or add the TCP/IP protocol for the networking or show proof of the operating system license agreement.

Installation of Wireless Router: The actual configuration times vary depending on your network. Forbin will be available to assist with the configuration of the client workstations. Our standard networking charge $125.00 per hour will apply. The network charges start from the time we leave our office and arrive on site.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT POLICY: Technical support is available by calling 319-274-4430. A Forbin Networking Support Technician will perform a remote diagnostic. If the router is operating within acceptable parameters, the Forbin support technician will review your current support agreement and present you with the appropriate service options.

Features that are included:

Built in features that can be activated:

Expandability
The key feature of our wireless router is the versatility it offers, such a VPN and server capabilities.

Firewall
In Internet/Intranet terms, a firewall is a combination of certain hardware and software that separate two networks. We are separating the Internet, which has information available to the world and the Intranet, which has information available to a specific group of people (Commonly identified as your LAN or Local Area Network).

Example: Company XYZ may want certain information available to its employees such as a shared folder, or maybe the company phone list, but does not want the general public to view or have access to this list through their Internet connection. The phone list exists on the company Intranet, separated from the Internet by a firewall.
