I had the Forbin Wireless service installed in my
computer about 2 months ago, and I simply love it! I had
used a 1-way satellite service prior to this, and before
that standard 56k dial-up. This blew them both away!
It's great for everything I do. It has lightning fast downloads
(I've gotten upwards of 200kb a second), and web pages load
up almost instantly. It has a very high upload rate too,
so sending files is never a problem. I also get an extremely
low ping in all my online games. I now enjoy streaming video,
Internet radio, and the like.
Another feature I love is the fact that it's always on.
I never have to dial-up, log in, or anything. Because of
this I was able to get rid of my 2nd phone line. It's painless
too; I just open up the Internet and away I go, 24-hours
a day. Whenever I turn my computer on, once it's restarted
the Internet is up and running in mere seconds.
Having used the Forbin Wireless service for 2½ months,
I wouldn't go back to anything else. Living out in the country
like I do, this service is a godsend when it comes to the
Internet. I seriously recommend this service for anyone
who can get it! Once you experience always-on, super fast
Internet, you won't want to go back!
