I've been using Forbin's Wireless Internet for several
months now and I have
to say it has made three huge improvements in my computing
life:
(1) I never tie up the home phone anymore. For that alone,
it's worth the price.
(2) I don't stare at the screen anymore waiting for downloads
(especially photos) to finish. In fact, I recently went
back to an internal modem in my laptop while traveling,
and chose to wait until I returned to my wireless to download
a relative's giant file (a dozen photos)--just to avoid
the long wait. For this alone, it's also worth the price.
(3) I never have to sit through that annoying modem screech
waiting for a connection. It's always there, zing. For this
alone, too, it's worth the price.
In other words, I'd pay three times what Forbin charges
for this service. Not quite, but close. I'm totally sold
on the service and thankful that Forbin offers it for a
truly reasonable price. I consider their service nothing
less than visionary, and a real plus for my personal and
professional computing.
